v0.1.4a Changes

  • Upgrading a structure at the start will start the game, as it should have had.
  • When tiles are reclaimed, lanes with no buildable spaces are prioritized.

A new upgrade system

The ability to upgrade structures individually will be removed (for now atleast). Instead, a new structure will be added which will give universal or structure type specific upgrades.

New structure: Lab

A lab will research new upgrades for your structures. Every X amount of time, it gives you a choice between 2 random upgrades that you can take. Here are a few examples that could be added:

  • Gatling: Scattershot -- It's what is shown in the gif above.
  • Gatling: Heavier Bullets -- Gatling bullets deal +1 damage. Repeatable.
  • Shock: Overcharge -- Shock bullets gain +0.5 stun for every structure activated.
  • Laser: Internal Reflection  -- Laser beams deal +2 shield damage and has a chance to pierce through shielded units.
  • Factory: Repair -- Factories will repair adjacent structures.

I will share more information once I get this thing working. I'm currently stuck in a specific problem for the past 3 hours haha :)
